Brushing & Flossing
It is very important to keep seeing your general dentist during the orthodontic treatment for routine cleanings, examinations, and other services. It is more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces so the teeth and gums remain healthy after orthodontic care.
During orthodontic treatment, patients may require more frequent (every 3-4 month) visits to the dentist for professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease or bone loss should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.

Brushing Techniques With Braces

Our children have been patients of Parsons Orthodontics for some time now. We always recommend Parsons Orthodontics to friends and family. We’ve been extremely happy with the level of care we have received. The office is full of caring and knowledgeable professionals who’ve gone out of their way to make my children feel comfortable. My girls know they will be treated with care, and are familiar with everyone in the office. For a welcoming, intimate office, with experience and professionalism, we will highly recommend Parsons Orthodontics.
